Godventure

Current struggle

Weekend workouts

What a weekend!  I got my first 50 mile week in, ending with 56.5 miles.  I got a 20miler in on Saturday followed by another 12.25 on Sunday at 8 min/mile pace!  With the temps hovering around 5o Sunday it was hard for me to control myself.  I felt great!    I am closing in on 200 miles this month, an all time high for me.  It's amazing the level this training has taken me to.  A big struggle right now for me is to simply focus on the time running, and not necessarily the mileage. Read More

Brutal Hill Repeat

My legs were still a little tired from this past weekend's running, so I wasn't sure how this morning's hill repeat workout would turn out.  I didn't want to push it too hard with my achilles hurting last week, but it actually felt great.  Good workout today; better than I expected in fact.  I'm looking forward to a great week of training this week! Read More
