Book review for Jesus Loves You this I know
Jesus Loves You this I know by Craig Gross and Jason Harper
Three little words: Jesus. Loves. You. So much meaning is to be found in these three words. The authors take us on a journey which, if we allow it, can change our very outlook on life. First you must begin to understand who Jesus truly is. Not what you’ve heard about Him, but what you read about Him throughout the Scriptures. Once one begins to grasp who Jesus truly is, a full understanding of the word love can be reached. An understanding that leads one to believe that every person is deserving of love, because Jesus loves everyone. And that’s when You begin to change. When we begin to reach the point that we can learn to love those people that are hardest for us to love, we become a little more like Jesus. Too many times we don’t understand that when we fail to love others, we become exactly what we despise. “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” BUT “God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have EVERLASTING LIFE.” That’s the challenge that I walked away with. Jesus loves everyone. It’s time I started acting that truth out.
